Taittinger World Cup 2018
To celebrate that Champagne Taittinger has, once again, been chosen as the Official Champagne of the World Cup for 2018 the iconic brand has produced a limited-edition carton for their Brut Reserve wine. Referencing the sporting heritage of the game, the carton features paneled footballs that reflect light at different angles, flashing and sparkling as the carton moves. Kinetic silver lines trace the trajectory of the balls as they swerve around the pack and a series of concentric circles add to the level of interest. All of this overlays an extremely large Fresnel lens used as the background of each of the four carton faces together with the lens support for the brands Theobaldi seal on the front and top of the carton. Whoever takes the World Cup home, Taittinger is already a winner.
Kerastase Elixir PARIS
When L’Oréal’s premium hair care brand Kerastase needed to create a label for their Elixir Ultime oil the team wanted an effect that could be viewed through the product to reflect the product description of “hair is left feeling nourished, protected and infinitely shiny” whilst enhancing the reverse of the bottle and creating an intriguing and unique label.
Using an interlocking honeycomb pattern appears simple and straightforward but the size of the hexagonal unit and the angle of the pattern needed to be precisely calculated to ensure a seamless, invisible overlap on the repeat. The design replaces a more irregular asymmetric design to create a label that is simple in appearance yet uses all of the tooling expertise of our design team to produce.
Estee Lauder – Re Nutriv
Skincare has become a focus for all major cosmetic brands and discerning consumers are prepared to invest in creams and serums which offer to maintain and improve their skin condition. Market leader Estee Lauder have introduced a new, premium range of products under the R-Nutriv brand and needed outer packing to reflect the quality and values of the product inside.
Moet & Chandon – Box Packaging
After success in Christmas 2016 with their first venture into Fresnel enhanced packaging, leading Champagne brand Moet & Chandon asked Wavefront to develop a pattern that would create maximum shelf stand out in duty-free for Christmas 2017. The result was a radial effect combining several patterns that gives both movement and brilliance to the finished carton.
La Mia Perla – Packaging
An iconic, indulgent Italian brand, La Perla constantly reimagine the changing world around them and in 2017 under the guidance of Master Perfumer Honorine, created a new fragrance to encapsulate the values and sensuality of the brand.
Taittinger – Box Packaging
Taittinger, an early adopter of the Fresnel effect, have over the past years integrated the effects into their brand identity. The recent introduction of a printed opaque white front and reverse panel has lifted the design still further and this packaging stands on the shelves, whether in a duty-free or store environment.
Marlboro – Box Packaging
When the Marlboro brand, famed for the male-dominated imagery of their Marlboro Red cowboy advertisements, wanted to reach out to female consumers they developed new products with a different taste, more elegant, slimmer appearance and inevitably, new packaging.
Comtes – Box Packaging
The Taittinger team set out to create a carton board sleeve that would enhance the existing rigid presentation box used for their 100% Chardonnay cuvée wine. The challenge was to make a link to the brands current “bubble” identity used across their more standard range whilst enhancing the prestige appearance of the pack.
